As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Colombia and was truly impressed by the quality of the food and the warm hospitality of the staff. The restaurant offers a range of amenities such as outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi, and a full bar, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch with friends or a cozy dinner with loved ones.
One of the standout dishes that I tried was the bandeja paisa, a hearty combination of rice, beans, steak, eggs, and avocado that truly captured the essence of Colombian comfort food. The flavors were rich and bold, and each bite left me craving for more. Additionally, the vegan options at Casa Colombia were just as impressive, with dishes like plantain-stuffed peppers and coconut lentil stew showcasing the creativity and diversity of Colombian cuisine.

This was my first visit and it won't be my last. This is an authentic spot with a courteous staff including their manager. The food was delicious! For two of us, we ordered 4 things on the menu which I'd suggest just three next time including the appetizer. My favorite was the ceviche and tres leches. Best tres leches I've ever had. No complaints at all here. Oh and the guava drink with milk...

Food is incredible! We wanted to have something different and this placed delivered with a very friendly waiter, good atmosphere and exceptional food!

Food was so flavorful and delicious! Chicken and sauce were awesome. Had chicken empanada as well as an appetizer which was really good. All of their original sauces were excellent. Mashed potatoes were excellent - so creamy and fluffy but also flavorful. Service was great. Friendly and helpful. Ambiance was nice. Somewhat dark in the inside but did have an outside patio as well. Love this place and plan to go back soon!

took my grandma & parents here when they were visiting. now I don't know much about Colombian food, as I'm Puerto Rican, but I would say authentic or not, the food is incredible. The price of the food is also so reasonable, especially in austin. Their drinks (non alcoholic, at least) are delicious and well priced. Their fried Yucca is great, as are their plantains. I come here at least twice a month because of the food. My partner always gets the Bistec Criollo and I get the churrasco. The portions are large and the meat is always cooked perfectly. Their Chimichurri sauce is my favorite. Mariela is usually my server, and if she's not there I ask for her. She's incredibly sweet and wonderful at her job, but any server there does a good job. But Mariela truly makes the experience that much better.

Wow! We were on a work related event and we always like trying out new restaurants. We stumbled across Casa Colombia. It's a big menu with tons of options from meat, chicarrĂ³n, chicken - there's something here for everyone.

Vibrant flavors and hearty textures define this Colombian restaurant.I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was a medley of fresh vegetables, beans, and spices! So good and it was really popular for a Sunday night dinner!

We stopped by for late lunch 3ish but it was still hopping! They had a festive vibe today and there's even some diners who just came from the Viva La Vida parade in their full sugar skull make up and outfits! This is truly a neighborhood gem. The staff is always super welcoming at Casa Colombia! Our favorites are Efren and Mariella We had our favorites - ceviche, tres leches, deep fried pork belly. Their salsa goes well with everything! One dish that we ordered to go was Picada Colombiana - Assorted basket filled with fried goods and this was a delightful appetizer. They had sausage, beef, chicken, pork, yuca, small potatoes, plantains, all fried to perfection! Great appetizer!

Coming to Casa Colombia is always a comfort food treat. Their beans are delicious and remind me of home even though I'm not Colombian, but it's about as close as you can get to good Puerto Rican beans in Austin. Their chimichurri has a bit more vinegar content than most, but it only makes it more addictive. The way they cook the churrasco (skirt steak) is a bit odd but delicious nonetheless. The pork rind was not cooked enough and it was chewy. Ended up air frying it to eat with the rest of my leftovers and it came out perfect. I had never tasted morcilla before but it was tasty, definitely an acquired taste though. It paired really well with their spicy sauce. The service could have been better but it was a Saturday at peak time so I understand. Overall a great meal that tastes like home.
